Below is a guide to check if anyone has monkeyed around with your float lever or if you use a different thickness float chamber lid gasket.
Correct float level should never be assumed. Use the following, Z Therapy checking method, each time you change the float needle and seats or gaskets:
Hold the float chamber lid so that the float lever arm is facing toward the ground and is fully open. Raise the arm up until the float needle closes. You can tell when it is closed if you blow threw the inlet tube and the air stops. The distance from the float arm to the bottom of the lid should be .550 of a inch. Bend the tab on the float lever arm to achieve this measurement.
