1) There has been some misrepresentation concerning our lowering of prices as being target practice aimed at other vendors.  I've noticed one vendor targeting Z therapy carburetors by selling at a lower price, I have no problem with that. At any rate, if their prices are too high, then we follow the same commitment to offer lower prices, which is why we started this business to begin with 37 years ago. We have 10 times the operating expense, expensive rent we actually work out of a commercial space, not out of our home, we have 4 employees, end of year bonuses, Corporation fees, quarterly payments to the IRS and support a $3.5 million dollar inventory. I don't believe other vendors have this expense and yet our prices are very competitive. We have lowered our prices simply because we increased our MOQ  (minimum order quantity) on many items to lower the net cost, which lowers the list price without going to other countries to make that happen. If you bought an item at a higher cost in the past, the new lower price reflects the current MOQ order increase rendering a lower price on that item. Our lowering of prices was across the board and was applied to many items that NO ONE else offers. Since I only oversee the parts we make and no longer am involved in the process, except for QC, the labor rate to make parts somewhat decreased and the manufacturing has had a exponential increase allowing further reduction in actual cost on hundreds of items. We pass on the savings to you!

2) One thing is true here at Datsunparts. If we take the time to develop and make an item that we feel is well made, we will show our products advantages with photos and extoll its qualities. When I decide to offer something I think is an improvement in material or process, I will talk about the effort we made. That is normal.

3) Currently, we sell only 1 Chinese item that is made by a company that is partially owned by a US based entity. This item was made and tested decades ago and has previously sold in the hundreds with no complaints. This is the only item I have ever asked for advance sales on, as I am older and wish to at least get my cost back so my family does not suffer any loss. I decided to offer an intro price which is $100.00 below the actual list price to make a product available that no one else has the money to finance and because there was a need in the market. Within weeks the item was slated for production. I saved my customers $15,000 but no one is talking about that except me here.

No one remembers the millions I spent developing parts over the past 37 years without asking for a dime upfront. I remember and our product line proves this. The only reason we sell this one Chinese item is that we exhausted the search to have this made in the United States. We work with some other part numbers overseas, but it is never with China, India or Vietnam. Never ever!! The companies we work with here in the US operate with US trained engineers  and are subsidiaries of their credible manufacturing counterparts overseas.

3) Ross at Sports Imports told me that when Dean has a sale, that some of our parts are purchased through intermediaries and end up in other vendors inventories. How nice and complimentary. I wish they would just order directly through us. It would be easier for them and cheaper.

 What that means to you, our customer, is that you are buying parts, that we make and sell, through other vendors. Why not buy directly from us and save time. You may save some money too?

4) When you visit our parts category list, on the left hand blue navigation bar, you will see hundreds of sku's within each category with a line through the higher price on the right, as shown in the examples below. Explanation continued after the examples:

When you see a lined through price that is more than our price that is a "SALE" price found somewhere on the internet. The percentage you immediately save with us can be anywhere between 13% to 43 % and more!

Jenner, our IT specialist, closely monitors the market so you can be assured that your savings is real and not made up. If you do not see a line through a price and a percentile savings, the price is either within 5% less than the other vendor, the same as the other vendor or the other vendor does not carry that item.
