Designed to be easier to install than the original hose. This is a heavy duty improved version, specifically designed to be easily disconnected for easy service at the block. That's not possible with the old style original line.
Our hose has 1 point of disconnect block side, as opposed to 3 points of disconnect (SEE ARROWS ON THEIR PART ON THE WHITE BACKROUND) of the super expensive parts house selling theirs for $179.00. If you want to make their line pictured on the white back round, with what they are using, including the fitting numbers, this is how to do it: Generic Goodridge (not Aeroquip like they say) DOT Brake hose(R) about $30, Race Tronix- ADF- 3J18PTM - $3.33, FM10324-03 - $8.00/ 10*1.25 / 3 (Modified) - $6.00 Total $47.33 as opposed to $179.00
Remember, if you go their route you will have more joints, more points of possible leakage. You only use more parts when your only choice is picking pieces out of Goodrich USA overseas parts catalog to make a hose. To quote any development design engineer "Keep it simple stupid"
