A two part silicone that is heat cured is used to join the inner and outer machined rings. The manufacturer uses a "Multi balance 3000" to balance the assembly after completion.
NOTE: Not many rebuilders have a balancer, to balance the assembly properly, or use heat curing silicone for assembly. These are not thrown together on the Sunday funny papers. Always ask before sending your balancer to someone for their rebuilding procedures.
