Pay particular attention to the size of the star fitting.
1600/2000 Stainless steel brake hose set. Upgrade from the original rubber hose set. See part # 1533 for rubber hoses. Comes with new sealing washers.
Our brake hoses have the correct SAE hex head, matching the original Nissan hose, toproperly allow the hose to be indexed in the star holder bracket on the car. This allows you to move the brake hose away from any suspension pieces mainly the front springs.
Nissan designed it this way. This indexing is important as it will not allow the brake hose to rotate once secured in place with the U-shaped clip. 2nd photo - A customer sent us this photo of a local speed shop in New Hampshire that made them a brake hose with an undersized hex which does not index with the star therefore the hose can not be set away from the being pinched by the suspension. He returned it and bought our set.
The lines that are pictured come with a Clear transparent plastic covering over the stainless portion of the hose.
