By the way the outlet ports are actually located back from the end like the original Nissan and not represented in the early drawing shown.For those of you that bought a Chinese master cylinder for over $200.00, here is a joint venture US company co owned by a reputable Taiwan manufacturer of brake components making parts for over 50 years here in the USA. Priced fairly, we did not pay extra to put our name on the side, passing on the savings to you. These master cylinders may also come with a bagged rebuild kit inside the box for any eventual rebuilding where it may or may not ever be needed. Therefore no searching for specially made parts with our master way down the road. Not sure if we will go that route, but the price of just the masters here is pretty much locked in.
HISTORY: Taiwan was the 2nd country that developed aftermarket hydraulics after Italy in the early 70's. In a effort to take advantage of Western schooled and educated Taiwanese engineers, Taiwan Board of industry took their own returning US schooled engineers and put them to work perfecting many industrial products along with a growing automotive parts manufacturing market. The result was quality hydraulic parts in the same vane as their Japanese counterparts. Auto Specialty was the first to import their products. It took China 2 decades, into the 90's, even to match the quality of Taiwanese manufacturers where they are now supplying the world market. However, China never benefited from any association with US technology or US schooled personnel, still having issues with conformity and consistency, just think back in recent years about the Chinese ball joint fiasco. China's manufacturing facilities vary from small shacks to large facilities. That is why we NEVER will buy a mainland Chinese part only 1 item, brake drums, that sold bigly a decade ago, but that part was made by a co-owned US entity with all products being designed by US engineers.
