The correct Hood knob for a 69 model year is the "H" knob supplied in this kit. Actual photos from a customers 1969 2000 show that the later cable that has the ball at the end did indeed come from the factory with the "H" knob like a 68 model year, not the 70 T symbol thread on handle erroneously reported on one of the forums.
