Years ago, Mark Degroff created a specially machined clamping tool necessary to hold this 2 piece gear solidly together during the welding procedure that controls distortion of the smaller area ring.
We have pristine gears already repaired, in stock, ready to ship. UP front. Your core should still be pressed together with no teeth missing, rust, pitting or irreparable or cosmetic damage. If you have a bad gear, the other guy sell gears like yours for exchange.
