Datsun Roadster & Fairlady Isolators Specifically made for Comp Front springs (pair)

4 years ago, I personally machined the master and paid for the tooling for our isolator and it is correct for every comp spring that is made. Look at the thin taper the smaller diameter to fit the comp springs properly. Since we are older than most of the other other vendors and have been in business decades before them, wrenching on cars installing our parts while they were still in Elementary school, we know our parts work.

FOR FRONT COMPETITION SPRINGS

These isolators are not the Energy Suspension coil spring isolators that were designed for the stock springs, which have a larger inner diameter, than the competition spring.

We all have stuffed the Energy parts into the comp springs and know how tight they are, not allowing the spring to "seat" properly.

Simply cutting off the raised ridge that centers the spring on the Energy parts allows the springs to flop around on the metal centering ring...bad move and cheap fix. Leaving out the urethane or rubber all together, at the top of the spring seat, is another bad move with even more slop unless you want to show up with noisy springs at the Roadster meet. Well no more of that.

These exclusive parts to Datsunparts, I cut the aluminum master myself, are specifically designed for the competition springs for our own 2103, 2107, 2113, 2116 spring sets and the 2175 Mike Young spring set, all of which, have larger diameter wire and hence forth a smaller inside diameter. The raised urethane radius on our part, supported by the metal centering ring at the top of the spring seat, center the springs beautifully. You can also use these on the bottom spring seat to play around with the overall height and use extra sets as a shim kit.

2nd, 3rd and 4th photo show the precise and perfect fit to the upper and the lower spring seats. Spring shown in the photo is a Mike Young spring made by Bett's Spring in Fresno. Ca.
