Our brake hoses have the correct SAE hex head to properly allow you to index, in the star holder bracket, the brake hose to keep it away from any suspension pieces. This indexing is important as it will not allow the brake hose to rotate once secured in place with the U-shaped clip. 2nd photo - A customer sent this photo to us of a brake hose that a speed shop in New Hampshire made that used an undersized hex fitting that will not index to the star properly. He returned it and bought the hoses from us. If you don't buy from us then be sure you get the right and safe parts that you deserve.
