Precision balanced. Good to at least 9k - fully suitable and approved for racing unlike economy versions sold by others!

Economy dampers are NOT SFI certified for racing or street use, never was and never will be. There is nothing in their design to keep them from eventually coming apart and history has proven this.

This is the best damper made, but always the best from Datsunparts!

Can be used for R16 using a SKF 18854 seal 48mm x 68mm x 11mm in the R16 timing cover.

This is not a budget part! Anyone can spin a harmonic balancer up to 9,000 RPM on an electric motor and say it won't come apart. That is not the same as what is experienced by this part on a combustion engine.

Dampers are made from billet steel and are NOT cast.

This balancer will not come apart like a regular stock or an aftermarket one, henceforth why ours has an SFI certificate.

Dampers offer the most precise and advanced execution of the proven elastomer-style harmonic damper (also referred to as Torsional Vibration Damper, or Harmonic Balancer) design.

Most engine designers prefer elastomer-type dampers because of their durability, superior high-frequency damping qualities, and ability to dampen all types of vibrations: torsional, axial and radial. Other damper designs are limited to damping torsional vibrations only.

S.F.I. 18.1 approved dampers are typically lighter than the O.E.M. units they replace and also lighter than many competitive aftermarket dampers.
