Datsun Roadster 2000 U20 Intake/Exhaust Manifold AFTER MARKET USA
Both gaskets are composite material with metal as a component. We do not sell cheap paper gaskets ever, such as the Tri-mil gaskets sold by others. Ask them what comes in their header boxes.
1286 - Internal metal composite material. Temperature rating: 1200 degrees Laser cut. 30 plus years of sales and proven quality
1286MBS - External metal composite material. METAL TECH ARR925 Temperature rating 1200 degrees. Die cut. This type of composite gasket was used for the 1500 and 1600 as a manifold gasket by Datsun in the 1960's. They later adopted the construction of the composite metal material as being part of the gasket internally, much like our gaskets and continue to use it. See part number 2757. They never used this material for the U20 as the head differed from the 1500/1600 by flowing water through the manifold which presents a problem with the perforations in this gasket allowing a breach. I suppose a little Permatex Ultra gray may solve any wandering flow of water.
