Datsun Roadster & Fairlady 1500 Valve Cover Gasket NEW PRODUCTION

Our proprietary die gaskets are made specifically for the 1500/1600. When you see other vendors selling gaskets with tab extensions that don't make sense, they are buying gaskets from the forklift dealers who have all their parts for the H20 forklift sourced from overseas suppliers. Often they are made from straight cork and not the Cork / Nitrile blend which we select that will not shrink.
1500/1600 Rubberized Cork valve cover. Note: This is the original looking gasket, from the correct tool, not the forklift one with the tabs that hang out. Of course the forklift one will work, but it doesn't look very Datsun Roadster or Fairlady 1500 does it? This is new stock CORK/RUBBER mix not cork.
NOTE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS: Be sure to reference the correct side of the gasket to the valve cover, first, before applying any sealant. Rough up and clean the surface to be attached to the bottom of the valve cover and the valve cover itself. It is very important that this gasket be glued to the valve cover and not free floating on the cylinder head. We recommend Permatex 3H Form-A-Gasket or Gaska-Cinch. Apply to the valve cover and gasket and assemble. Allow to dry overnight before installing onto the vehicle.
